Spring Swing – 50 Years Foreward

Fifty years ago, Gary Hayes, a Little in our program, launched the annual United Way fundraising campaign at Yingling’s Golf Center. Fast forward to today, on the anniversary of that event, he is now offering a $30,000 matching challenge to organizations supporting underserved youth. He will match donations dollar-for-dollar, up to $30,000, to benefit the organizations he credits with saving his life as a once-at-risk youth.

The finale of this fundraiser will culminate in a celebratory family fun day at Yingling’s Golf Center, where it all began. Various youth-serving organizations will come together for a day filled with activities, food, and laughter. Participating organizations include the Boys & Girls Club, Girls Inc., the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, United Way, and, of course, Big Brothers Big Sisters.
