Big Brothers Big Sisters of America  – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County is an affiliate of Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, the oldest and largest mentoring organization in the world.

Boys & Girls Club of Washington County (BGWC)  – It is the BGWC’s mission to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible citizens.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County has partnered with them and Girls Inc. to provide mentoring  for children in their afterschool programs who have been identified as needing additional support.

Brook Lane  – It is the mission of Brook Lane to help individuals improve their emotional and behavioral well-being through education and treatment.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County partners with Brook Lane, Cedar Ridge, The Mental Health Center of Western Maryland, Meritus Behavioral Health Services, Potomac Case Management, Inc., the Washington County Department of Social Services, the Washington County Health Department, the Washington County Mental Health Authority and Washington County Public Schools to plan the Annual Child Welfare Workshop.

CHARACTER COUNTS! Washington County, MD, Inc. (CCWC)  – CHARACTER COUNTS! Everywhere, All the Time and CCWC engages all aspects of the Washington County community by utilizing strategies that teach, advocate, and model the Six Pillars of Character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship.

Children in Need  – Children In Need provides children in Washington County the necessities needed for learning and has supported the reading of our Littles through their Bookworm Program.

Columbia Gas– Columbia Gas generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a Platinum Package Level sponsorship.

Community Foundation of Washington County MD, Inc. (CFWC)  – The CFWC is one of more than 750 similar tax-exempt public charities throughout the United States that work to make their communities better places to live. It is a local organization staffed by residents of the community and led by a board of trustees who have an in-depth knowledge of the issues that shape our community.

This CFWC was created by and for the people of Washington County, and exists to improve the quality of life for all of our citizens, now and for generations to come, by building community endowments, addressing needs through grant making and providing leadership on key community issues.

Established in 1997, The CFWC has grown from one fund worth $9,000 to 325 funds valued at over $39 million. They have awarded $20 million in grants and scholarships since inception.

The CFWC generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs.

Delaplaine Foundation  – The Delaplaine Foundation is a private family philanthropic organization that was established to help enrich the lives of community members and perpetuate the outstanding quality of life enjoyed in Frederick and the surrounding area.

Direct Mail Processors – Direct Mail Processors generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a Platinum Package Level sponsorship.

Dot Foods – Dot Foods generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a grant from the Dot Foods Charitable Foundation.

FirstEnergy Foundation – The FirstEnergy Foundation generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through grants each year.

First United Bank & Trust Dreams Foundation – The First United Bank & Trust Dreams Foundation generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through grants each year.

Girls Inc. of Washington County  – Girls Inc. delivers life-changing programs that inspire girls to be strong, smart, and bold. Research-based curricula, delivered by trained professionals, equip girls to achieve academically; lead healthy and physically active lives; manage money; navigate media messages; and discover an interest in science, technology, engineering, and math.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County has partnered with them and the Boys & Girls Club of Washington County to provide mentoring  for children in their afterschool programs who have been identified as needing additional support.

Graber Financial Services – Ken Graber manages all investments for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County gratis.

The Greene Turtle – The Greene Turtle generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a Platinum Package Level sponsorship.

Grosh’s Lawn Service – Grosh’s Lawn Service generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a Platinum Package Level sponsorship.

Hadley Farms – Hadley Farms generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a Platinum Package Level sponsorship.

Haven Lutheran Church  – We have been blessed to call Haven Lutheran Church home since December of 2014. They are one of our key faith-based partners.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County has partnered with Hub Labels to recruit Bigs for the Site-Based Mentoring Program.

The Interfaith Service Coalition (ISC)  – The mission of the ISC is to assist individuals and families in times of need, whether it’s physical, emotional, financial or spiritual. The ISC has as part of its goal a commitment to promote individual dignity and self-worth, encouraging and supporting those it serves to help themselves and others.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County has partnered with the Interfaith Service Coalition to implement the Site-Based Mentoring Program in Hancock.

JLG  & Oshkosh Corporation Foundation  – The Oshkosh Corporation designs and builds the world’s toughest specialty trucks and truck bodies and access equipment by working shoulder-to-shoulder with the people who use them.

Jone L. Bowman Foundation, Inc. – The Jone L. Bowman Foundation, Inc. generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs. We’re happy to have the foundation’s support, as well as Bowman Development Corp., Bowman Trailer Leasing & Bulls & Bears.

Laura Oates Design – Laura Oates Design is a critical partner in the development of our marketing and Big recruitment materials.

Lifehouse Church – Lifehouse Church has been one of our key faith-based partners in Big recruitment.

The Mathias Washington County Charitable Trust – The Mathias Washington County Charitable Trust generously funds the agency-planned, Big-Little activities throughout the year.

Meritus Health – Meritus Health supports our Little Leadership Academies by providing instruction on healthy living.

The Nora Roberts Foundation  – The primary focus of The Nora Roberts Foundation is to support literacy. Additional areas of focus are: children’s programs, arts organizations, and humanitarian efforts, with local organizations being its priority.

OnTrack Washington County (OTWC)  – The mission of OTWC is to align public, private, and non-profit resources and opportunities from cradle to career, empowering individuals to maximize their potential through educational and vocational endeavors.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County is an active partner in OTWC’s work.

Phoenix Color – Phoenix Color has been one of our largest Bowl for Kids’ Sake sponsors for decades. Additionally, they have sponsored some other special projects that support our mission.

Racine MultiSports – We partnered with Racine MultiSports 2014-2019 for our Monster Dash fundraiser, which has been discontinued. In 2020, they named us as the recipient of some of the proceeds from their inaugural Halloween Hustle.

Richard N. Funkhouser Foundation – The Richard N. Funkhouser Foundation generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs.

The Richmond Lee Downey Foundation – The Richmond Lee Downey Foundation generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs.

Rotary Club of Hagerstown  & Rotary Club of Hagerstown Charitable Foundation – The Rotary Club of Hagerstown and the Rotary Club of Hagerstown Charitable Foundation generously support our one-to-one mentoring programs.

Rotary Club of Hagerstown – Sunrise  & Rotary Club of Hagerstown Sunrise Foundation, Inc. – The Rotary Club of Hagerstown Sunrise Foundation, Inc. generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs.

Springfield Middle School  – Fostering the intellectual, social, emotional, and physical growth of their students while preparing them to be successful learners in the 21st  century, Springfield Middle School strives to prepare tomorrow’s leaders.

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County has partnered with Springfield Middle School to recruit Bigs for the Site-Based Mentoring Program at Lincolnshire Elementary School.

St. Ann Roman Catholic Church  – Each Christmas, St. Ann Roman Catholic Church’s congregation collects gift cards for our Big-Little matches to use during their outings.

St. Paul’s Reformed Church  – St. Paul’s Reformed Church one of our key faith-based partners and one of our most significant supporters for our Bowl for Kids’ Sake.

Turner’s Dual Lanes  – Turner’s Dual Lanes is our primary partner for our Bowl for Kids’ Sake. Without their generosity, this fundraiser would not be the success it is.

Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation – The Ulta Beauty Charitable Foundation generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through grants each year.

United Way of Washington County  – The United Way of Washington County is a volunteer-driven nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting quality health and human service programs that make our community a stronger, better place for us all. United Way partners and collaborates with local agencies, organizations, civic groups and local government to find solutions that create lasting change to the highest priority problems in Washington County. United Way is committed to supporting programs and initiatives that help meet Basic Needs and provide access to a meaningful Education, Financial Stability and good Health for every Washington County resident.

Washington County Commission on Aging  RSVP Program – Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County has partnered with the Washington County Commission on Aging RSVP Program to recruit Bigs for the Site-Based Mentoring Program.

Washington County Department of Social Services  – Child safety is paramount for BBBS. As such, BBBSWC communicates any suspicions of child abuse and neglect to DSS.

Washington County Family Center (WCFC) – The WCFC is one of our partners for our Healthy Futures Program, a new collaborative funded by the United Way of Washington County that provides wraparound services for children and youth, ages 6-18, and their families that will support them in striving to live a healthy lifestyle.

Washington County Government  – Washington County Government generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs.

Washington County Public Schools  – Each year, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington County enters into an MOU with WCPS to provide the Site-Based Mentoring Program in select schools.

WLR Automotive Group Inc. – WLR Automotive Group, Inc. generously supports our one-to-one mentoring programs through a Platinum Package Level sponsorship.
