New Community-Based Matches:
Keely Neubauer/Chelsea Ross: Keely and Chelsea were matched on July 21, 2009. Keely is a Graphic Artist with AFMS, Inc. Chelsea is in the 9th grade and attends Antietam Academy.
Tremecia Bryant/Erica Bowens: Tremecia and Erica met on August 5, 2009. Tremecia is a Culinary Specialist in the U.S. Navy and Erica is in the 6th grade at Western Heights Middle School.
Kendra Norman/Mariah Ford: Kendra and Mariah were matched on August 13, 2009. Kendra is employed by the U.S. Navy as a Culinary Specialist and Mariah attends Eastern Elementary and is in the 5th grade.
John and Shannan Thorhauer/Matthew Weaver: John and Shannan met Matthew on August 17, 2009. John is a Programmer for Yakabod, Inc. and Shannan is a homemaker. Matthew is in the 7th grade at Springfield Middle School.
Danae Hart/Katie O'Brien: Danae and Katie were matched on September 24, 2009. Danae is a full-time student at Mountain State University and works at Aeropostale and Katie attends Potomac Heights Elementary and is in the 4th grade.

Congratulations to Volunteer Joe Dills' son, Major Jeffrey Dill, for completing an associate's degree in science (Thai Linguist) and a master's degree in security studies (Southeast Asia).

Alecha Sanbower, Executive Director, will be leaving the agency as of October 16, 2009 for family reasons. Alecha thanks the BBBS Staff, Board of Directors and Volunteers for the kindness she has received.

The agency is taking every precaution to be informed about the H1N1/Swine Flu virus. Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is dedicated to making sure all Littles and Bigs are aware of the latest news. The agency will be in contact with you as we develop materials and information on this potential pandemic outbreak.
