What is Bowl For Kids' Sake
Bowl For Kids' Sake is Big Brothers Big Sisters of Washington
County's largest fundraising event. It's your opportunity to
join the fun and raise money for kids in our community. The
funds raised go directly to the agency toward matching children
with carefully screened, caring mentors in our Community-Based
and School-Based Mentoring programs.
How it Works
Ask your friends and co-workers to join you in forming a team.
Obtain a sponsor sheet and collect pledges. Your sponsors
can donate a flat cash donation or they can donate per pin
pledge. The more pledges you collect the more prizes you will
be eligible for. You then call the agency office to set-up
your hour time slot to come bowl your free game on Bowl For
Kids' Sake Sunday. Sponsor sheets and Pledges will be collected
the day of the event.

advertisement in our program or donating money to the agency.

Facts You Should Know
- There is a $30.00 minimum
pledge for each bowler that bowls.
- Ten pins and Duck pins are available.
- You can have anywhere from one to five people on a team.
And you can have as many teams as you can put together.
- Bowling and shoes are FREE!! (As long as you present you
completed sponsor sheet the day of the event)
- The more sponsors you obtain the higher the gift certificate
and other prize drawings you will be eligible for.
- The minimum score is 100, regardless of the game bowled.
- Everyone leaves the event with "Thank You" mementos and dozens
of door prizes are given out throughout the event.
- The event runs from 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. It is up to you
and your team what time you would like to bowl. Just call the
office, 301-739-4711, and schedule your hour timeslot.
